Our Mission
Homeless Cars is a registered Canadian charitable foundation dedicated to helping fund and eliminate homelessness and food insecurity by supporting charities in the Toronto, Hamilton, Calgary, Edmonton, and Winnipeg greater areas through the proceeds of donated vehicles.
Our Vision
To be Canada’s most impactful and transparent car donation organisation that will make a significant difference in the lives of those that are chronically or temporarily homeless and/or food insecure.

Why Choose Homeless Cars?
We make it easy.
Don’t waste time trying to sell your car — spending money on ads, meeting buyers, negotiating and doing paperwork. Homeless Cars will pick up your vehicle between 24 and 72 hours after you agree to donate, completely free of charge. You can choose to meet the tow driver, or arrange a contactless pickup, so you don’t have to worry about meeting strangers. All it takes is a five-minute phone call or filling out this donation form.
We’re fast.
Pick-up receipts are issued the next business day, and your charitable tax receipt will be issued directly by Homeless Cars in the month after the month of your donation.
We’re efficient.
There is no middleman and no cost to you. Homeless Cars collects unwanted cars, processes them in an environmentally friendly manner and provides money directly to homelessness charities.
We’re transparent.
Homeless Cars offers full transparency about how the funds from your donation are distributed to the homeless, along with the assurance that the proceeds stay in your community to help address local issues.
Before you donate your car to any charity, please do your due diligence and confirm that the funds are being used as you assume they are and that ALL the funds stay in Canada. Some charities lead you to believe that funds are being dispersed in your community when in fact funds are being sent to the United States. Do your research!

That means that 100% of the funds donated from your vehicle stays in Canada in the community in which you donated. We guarantee that the funds go directly to Canadian charities helping Canadians.
